CSI THEATER - MACHINAL
A 1928 play by American playwright and journalist Sophie Treadwell who was inspired by the real-life case of convicted and executed murderer Ruth Snyder that Treadwell herself covered. Thematically and stylistically much ahead of its time, the play exposes the workings of the urban machinery that push a woman to the extremes in her search for self-expression and love.
